Dr Bob Lee

Chiropractor · Wellbeing Chiropractic Melbourne CBD & Carlton

I’m Dr Bob Lee, an AHPRA registered chiropractor with years of clinical experience, consulting in Melbourne CBD and Carlton. Whether you’re in pain, stiff and not moving well, or want your body functioning better, my approach involves: a full health history and examination first, a conversation about what I find, then care matched to you. You’ll leave your first visit knowing what’s going on, what we’re going to do about it, and feeling the relief.

What I help with

Back & neck pain

The everyday complaints that build from long hours at a desk, broken sleep or a specific strain.

Stiffness & restricted movement

A neck that won’t turn, a back that catches, joints that have stopped moving the way they should.

Training & sport

Load-related complaints for people who lift, run or play. I work with your training rather than around it.

Most people book because something has started interrupting work, sleep, training or day to day life. I begin by working out what is driving it rather than chasing the sore spot. If the assessment points somewhere other than chiropractic, I’ll tell you where to go instead.

From coaching movement to treating it

I worked as a personal trainer for about ten years, first in Korea and then in Australia, and added a REHAB Training Specialist certification in 2015. I kept meeting the limits of what a training program could fix, so I studied chiropractic at RMIT and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chiropractic. I completed CPD Health’s Advanced Dry Needling course in 2020.

I still compete in bodybuilding. I won the PCA Australian National Overall title in 2023 and again in 2024, and placed first in the under 80kg class at the 2025 IFBB Victorian Championship. That background gives me a working feel for load and fatigue, which matters whether your back went on a deadlift or your neck locked up after a bad night.

I consult in Korean and English across our Melbourne CBD and Carlton clinics. I’m a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association and a supporter of Australian Spinal Research.

What your first visit looks like

We start with your history and a physical and movement assessment. I look at how you move and where load is going, not only where it hurts. If treatment suits on the day, we begin then, and you leave with a plan and something to work on between visits. If your presentation needs a GP or imaging, I’ll say so and help you get there.

“The sore spot and the cause often sit in different places. My job is to find the cause.”

Questions patients ask

Yes, both clinics have HICAPS for all major funds, so if your extras cover includes chiropractic you claim on the spot and pay the gap.

No, you can book with me directly. Chiropractors are a first-contact profession in Australia.

Yes, I grew up speaking Korean and can run the whole appointment in Korean or English.

Usually not, we adjust the load while things settle rather than stopping you outright.

A history and a physical assessment, then a plan, with treatment the same day if it suits.
