The easygoing route into chiropractic
I trained at RMIT, taking out both chiropractic degrees, then headed for the kind of practice where sleeves get rolled up. Caroline Springs delivers exactly that: a suburb full of trades, young families and people who want straight answers about their bodies.
Two groups ended up at the centre of my work. Tradies, because their bodies are their income and their problems are practical, and people living with disability, where care done well asks for adaptability, patience and respect. Both taught me the same lesson: the treatment matters less than whether the person on your table feels understood.
Patients tend to describe me as casual and approachable, and I take that as the compliment it is. Nervous first-timers relax in my room, and relaxed patients ask better questions, make clearer choices and get more out of their care.
