Dr Connor Tobin-Underwood

Principal Chiropractor · Wellbeing Chiropractic Keysborough & Narre Warren

I’m Dr Connor Tobin-Underwood, principal chiropractor across our Keysborough and Narre Warren clinics. My first chiropractic adjustment happened when I was ten days old, so I have spent my whole life on one side of this table or the other, and I grew up watching what consistent, holistic care did for my own family. The RMIT chiropractic double degree turned that history into a profession, and the responsibility gets taken literally: care I would stand behind for the people I love. Every file starts with an unhurried history, a structured examination and an explanation in plain English.

10 days old at my first adjustment

A lifetime on the receiving end of chiropractic came before the delivering end.

2 clinics led as principal

Keysborough and Narre Warren, run to the same standard of care.

Private Health Insurance Onsite

All major health insurance funds, at Keysborough and Narre Warren alike.

The southeast’s daily load

Shift starts in the logistics belt

Keysborough’s warehouses and depots run on lifting, reaching and repetition. Those hours show up in shoulders and lower backs, usually mid-shift.

The pram-to-school-bag years

Narre Warren parents lift, carry and chauffeur on top of their actual jobs. That load lands on backs that rarely get a turn to rest.

The recliner finishes the job

After a full day of workplace sitting, the couch adds one more hour of the same posture. Lower backs notice arithmetic like that.

Growing up on the patient side of chiropractic taught me what good care feels like from the table: heard, examined, informed, never processed. Both clinics run on that standard. Histories get taken properly, examinations come before conclusions, and explanations arrive in plain English with the reasoning on show. When a presentation calls for a GP or a scan before chiropractic has a role, that gets said early and arranged properly.

Adjusted before I could crawl

Chiropractic care has been part of my life since I was ten days old. I grew up watching what consistent, holistic care did for my own family, and experiencing its effects firsthand is what pulled me toward the profession, through the RMIT chiropractic double degree and into practice.

Now I get to make that same difference for other people’s families, and I take the responsibility literally. As principal chiropractor at Keysborough and Narre Warren, the standards I hold myself to are the ones I’d want applied to the people I love: assessment before treatment, plain explanations, and care plans that answer to results.

My adjusting is built on Diversified technique, precise, manual and unhurried, supported by the movement and habit work that keeps improvements from washing out between visits. I’m a member of Chiropractic Australia, and the southeast is very much home turf.

Family-grade care, clinic scale

A first visit at either clinic follows the shape I’d want for my own family: a real conversation about your history, a structured physical examination, then findings explained with the reasoning visible. You’ll know what I believe is going on, why, and what I suggest doing about it.

Care leans on precise Diversified adjusting supported by movement and habit work between visits. As principal I set the standard both clinics run on, and it’s an easy one to state: care I’d put my own name and family behind.

“Every care plan here has to pass the family test: would I hand it to my own?”

Questions patients ask

I was, and I’ve been a chiropractic patient ever since. It means I know exactly how it feels to be on your side of the table, and younger patients here get the same gentle, assessment-led care I started with, parents in the room throughout.

Whichever suits your week, I practise at both and your file follows you. Pick the closer drive and the time that works, the care is identical.

Beyond seeing my own patients, I’m responsible for the standard of care across both clinics. In practice it means the processes, the assessment quality and the culture all answer to someone whose name is on them.

Yes, all major health insurance funds are handled at the desk at both clinics, and your only cost is the gap where your cover includes chiropractic.

Then you’ll hear it from me directly, along with where to go instead. A lifetime around this profession has made me confident about what it helps, and clear-eyed about what belongs with a GP, a scan or a different specialty.
