Dr Jack day

Chiropractor · Wellbeing Chiropractic Hoppers Crossing & Werribee

I’m Dr Jack Day, chiropractor at Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, with a Master of Chiropractic from AECC University College in England. My formula hasn’t changed since training: hands-on treatment, corrective exercise and lifestyle advice working as one plan, aimed past pain relief at long-term function, mobility and wellbeing. Then you go beat your own personal bests, which is my favourite part.

The west’s working bodies

Wyndham’s commuter spine

The Princes Freeway westbound queue gives Hoppers Crossing bodies an extra seated hour most evenings. Hips and lower backs pay the toll.

Goals with a finish line

Park runs, gym numbers, comp season. The west trains hard, and bodies that chase targets need tune-ups, not talkings-to.

Estate life, box by box

Werribee and Hoppers keep growing, and every new address means lifting days, assembly nights and gardens started from bare dirt.

Most problems that reach me have two layers: the pain, and the deconditioning that grew around it while it hung about. Care here addresses both. A thorough assessment finds the driver, hands-on treatment settles it, and the corrective exercise and lifestyle layer rebuilds the capacity underneath so the problem loses its favourite conditions. Anything wanting a GP or imaging ahead of chiropractic gets flagged in the first conversation.

Trained in England, at home in the west

My Master of Chiropractic comes from AECC University College in England, a program built on the idea that treatment without rehabilitation is half a job. That thinking followed me home: every plan I write pairs the table work with corrective exercises and practical lifestyle changes, because function you build outlasts relief you’re given.

Sports care is my special interest, from proper athletes to the socially competitive, and Hoppers Crossing and Werribee supply plenty of both. The same principles run through every non-sporting case too: assess properly, treat what the assessment found, then strengthen the ground it grew from.

What I love most is watching people rediscover trust in their own bodies, that shift from protecting a back to relying on it, and then hearing about the goals they’ve knocked over since. Strength and resilience come back. My job is clearing the path.

Treat, rebuild, then raise the bar

First visits run assessment-deep: your story, your training and work loads, then a structured physical examination. You’ll leave understanding the driver of your problem and the shape of the plan, both in plain English.

From there the three layers run together: hands-on treatment in the room, corrective exercise you own between visits, and the lifestyle adjustments that stop the problem re-hiring itself. Progress gets judged on function, what you can lift, run and do, because that’s the currency your goals are priced in.

“Trust in your own body can be rebuilt. I get front-row seats to it weekly.”

Questions patients ask

Always, they’re a pillar of the plan rather than a pamphlet on the way out. Expect a short, specific program that evolves as you do, built for your equipment and your schedule.

Everything from weekend league to structured competition: assessment of the injury, the training load around it, and a return path that doesn’t sacrifice your season to caution or to recklessness.

Directly and early. Some presentations belong with a GP, imaging or another specialty first, and you’ll hear that from me in the first visit rather than three invoices later.

At both, yes. All the major health funds process at reception on the day, and where your policy takes in chiropractic, the gap is the end of it.

As long as the goal requires and not a visit more. The length gets set by your assessment findings and your target, laid out openly at the start, and reviewed against function as we go.
