Dr Stanley Ho

Chiropractor · Wellbeing Chiropractic Melton

I’m Dr Stanley Ho, chiropractor at our Melton clinic, consulting in English or Cantonese. My Bachelor of Chiropractic Science comes from RMIT, my membership from the ACA, and my scope runs past the spine on purpose: alongside Diversified, Gonstead, Activator and SOT, I trained in assessing and adjusting shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, the joints most spinal-only care leaves waiting. That range fits a working, sporting, building suburb that produces problems everywhere a body has moving parts. Whole-body thinking, five techniques, and your personal goals treated as the actual brief.

Spine to ankles, the whole frame

Dr Stanley Ho, chiropractor at Wellbeing Chiropractic

Melton

5 techniques in rotation

Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, SOT and extremity adjusting beyond the spine.

Extremity trained

Shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles assessed alongside the spine.

Private Health Insurance Onsite

All major health insurance funds, done at the Melton desk while you rebook.

Melton’s full-body caseload

The shoulder nobody assessed

Plenty of joint pain gets rubbed, rested and given up on without one structured assessment. Extremity problems have causes too, and finding them is the job.

Growth-corridor workloads

Melton builds, drives and lifts for a living. Knees, wrists and lower backs carry that economy, and they arrive here when the carrying stops working.

Ankles with a season to finish

Local sport hands out rolled ankles and jarred knees weekly. Whole-frame assessment works out what was hurt, what compensated, and what needs care.

Whole-body wellness is the frame I work in, and it changes the questions: a sore knee gets its hip and ankle checked, a stubborn shoulder gets its neck and posture on the table too, because joints rarely fail alone. Assessment maps the chain, the explanation is plain, and care is natural and hands-on across five techniques. Your personal goals set the target, and anything a GP should own first is called out at the start.

Whole-body by training, Melton by choice

My Bachelor of Chiropractic Science comes from RMIT, and I practise at Melton as an ACA member. From early on, extremity work became a signature: alongside Diversified, Gonstead, Activator and SOT for the spine, I trained in assessing and adjusting shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, the joints most spinal-only care leaves waiting.

That range fits Melton well. A working, sporting, building suburb produces problems everywhere a body has moving parts, and whole-body wellness means the care follows the problem rather than stopping at the spine’s edge.

Cantonese consults are available alongside English. And the part of the work I’d never trade is watching people hit goals they’d shelved, moving better, feeling better and living healthier on their own definition of all three.

Assess the chain, not the link

First visits map more than the sore spot: your history and goals, then a structured assessment of the painful area and the joints and patterns feeding it. The explanation covers the chain in plain terms, so the plan makes sense before it starts.

Treatment picks from five techniques, spinal adjusting through Gonstead precision to extremity work and SOT’s gentler blocks, matched to the joint, the presentation and your comfort. Progress gets measured against your personal goals, and natural, hands-on care stays the through-line.

“Joints rarely fail alone. Assessing the whole chain is what whole-body care actually means.”

Questions patients ask

Yes, extremity adjusting is a core part of my practice, not a sideline. Peripheral joints get the same structured assessment as spines, including the neighbouring links that often turn out to be driving the problem.

That the assessment follows connections instead of stopping at the sore spot. Hips get checked under knees, necks above shoulders, habits underneath everything, and the plan treats the pattern, not the symptom alone.

Of course, from history to home advice. Health explanations carry better in the language you’re at home in, and the outcome is better care.

Yes, all major health insurance funds go through at the Melton desk before you leave, with the gap as your one cost where chiropractic is in your cover.

Very much, lingering instability usually means something didn’t finish healing or something else started compensating. Assessment sorts which, and care plus staged loading handles the rest, with referral if the picture warrants it.
