From ballroom floors to Point Cook
Tara grew up in Altona Meadows, a western-suburbs local, and her first experience of chiropractic came as a child, seeking care for sports injuries earned ballroom dancing. The results made an impression deep enough to steer her studies: Science at Melbourne University first, then graduating from RMIT University as a chiropractor.
Her early career ran through Geelong practice and generous detours: volunteer chiropractic work in Samoa and service at community clinics in Corio. Along the way she completed additional training in paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic, Sacro-Occipital Technique and sports care, the three streams that define her practice.
At Point Cook she built a diary full of families, expectant mums and athletes of all levels. She is currently on maternity leave, living the life stage she has supported so many patients through, and the clinic team is caring for her patients until she returns. Outside practice you will find her at the beach or hiking with her dog Obi.
