Homeochakra Homeopathy

Uday Nagarkar·Homeopath

I’m Uday Nagarkar, an AROH registered homeopathic practitioner and the founder of Homeochakra Homeopathy. I consult from Wellbeing Chiropractic Wyndham Vale each Saturday, with telehealth appointments through the rest of the week. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in homeopathic medicine and have practised in Melbourne for fifteen years, after clinical camps in rural India during my training. Families, children and people living with long-standing conditions make up most of my week, and I consult in English, Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati.

Who comes to Homeochakra

Children & families

Whole families come in together, from babies through to teenagers. A first appointment is never rushed and opens with a complete history.

Long-standing conditions

People who have lived with a chronic condition for years and want a complementary approach that sits alongside their GP or specialist care.

Skin, women’s health & acute illness

Skin complaints, women’s health questions and short-term illnesses in the family are also common reasons to book, in the clinic or online.

Homeopathy is a complementary system of medicine. It sits alongside the care of your GP or specialist rather than replacing it, and I ask every client to keep that medical care going. A consultation gives you a detailed history, time to talk through the whole picture, and an individualised homeopathic prescription.

From a childhood interest in medicine to fifteen years in Melbourne

I was interested in medicine from childhood. As I grew up I came to see homeopathy as a gentle option and chose to make it my career, completing a Bachelor’s degree in homeopathic medicine along with studies in psychology. While studying I tutored and taught, and to sharpen my prescribing I worked at clinical camps in rural areas of India.

After moving to Melbourne I began by seeing clients a few hours a week while working full time in education. That grew into a full-time practice, and Homeochakra now supports clients across Australia and South East Asia, in person in Melbourne’s west and online. I have been in practice for fifteen years.

The goal has stayed the same throughout: to make homeopathy accessible and convenient without losing the personal connection or the quality of care.

A full history first, then an individualised prescription

A first consultation is long. I want to hear about the concern that brought you in, but also about your sleep, digestion, energy, temperament and history, because homeopathic prescribing works from the whole picture rather than a single label.

Follow-ups are shorter and track how you are going, with the prescription adjusted as needed. Telehealth consultations run the same way, and remedies can be posted to you. Please keep your GP and specialist informed, and bring a list of anything you are taking.

“Homeopathy is the second largest system of medicine in the world, used by more than 200 million people.”

Questions clients ask

It does not. Homeopathy sits beside your medical care rather than replacing it. Keep seeing your GP and specialists, and bring a list of anything you take so I have the whole picture.
