Sixteen years of hands-on practice
My interest in myotherapy grew from working in a range of settings and seeing the difference hands-on treatment made to how people moved and felt. Sport was a large influence at home, and my brother’s habit of injuring himself while training and competing for Australia in freestyle wrestling gave me plenty of early practice. A complex shoulder injury of my own later turned shoulders into a particular interest.
I began in remedial massage in 2010 and progressed into myotherapy, working across private practice and sporting environments and supporting other clinicians through in-house professional development. Northern Wellness Centre grew from that work, and I am joined there by myotherapists Anthony Ostrowsky and Cassandra Exposto.
Away from the clinic I am usually with family and friends, travelling, or searching out somewhere with great food.
