From planning healthy places to caring for healthy spines
My first profession was environmental planning and policy, thirteen years of it, and I came to chiropractic because I’m passionate about health and helping people live well. I completed a Diploma in Health Science at Auckland University of Technology, graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic with my Bachelor of Chiropractic in 2021, and I’m currently completing a postgraduate diploma in paediatric chiropractic care.
I’m experienced in delivering chiropractic care for every age, from newborns and toddlers to teenagers, adults and grandparents, and my special interests sit in nervous system health, pregnancy, paediatric care and health education. Upskilling is a habit: I regularly attend seminars and professional development, and my technique range covers Diversified, Gonstead, Sacro Occipital Technique, cranial work, Network Spinal and Neuro Emotional Technique. I’m also trained and experienced in checking and adjusting dogs.
Before joining the Wellbeing team I practised for five years in family care in Auckland and Rotorua, New Zealand, then relocated to Melbourne to be closer to family. I grew up in Springvale, so returning to the south east feels like coming full circle. When I’m not in practice you’ll find me trail running, travelling in the campervan, tending the vegetable garden, or at dog agility, a sport I’ve competed in with my Border Collies.
