Biomedicine first, chiropractic by choice
I came to chiropractic through science. A Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Victoria University gave me the deep grounding in how bodies work, and chiropractic gave that knowledge somewhere practical to live: the RMIT chiropractic double degree followed, and I’ve been building my technique range ever since.
That range now covers Diversified and Gonstead for exacting manual work, Activator for instrument-based care, SOT for gentler block work, Webster technique for pregnancy, and spinal decompression where traction suits the presentation. The width is deliberate. Patients shouldn’t be adapted to techniques, techniques should be adapted to patients.
I practise at our Mickleham clinic and consult in English and Assyrian, which matters to a good number of families in Melbourne’s north. What holds me in this work is simple to describe and hard to beat: watching someone move better, understand their own body, and pick their life back up.
