Building care around the person, not the spine alone
A CQU alumnus, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic and a Master of Clinical Chiropractic. I practise at Wellbeing Chiropractic Springfield and I’m a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association. What keeps me in this work is the relationship side of it. A complaint rarely improves in a straight line, and working through that with someone, adjusting the plan as their body responds, is where I think a chiropractor earns their keep. I get to know what drives and motivates each patient, because that’s usually the difference between a plan that gets followed and one that quietly gets dropped. The best part of the job is watching someone reach the goal they named at their first visit. Sometimes that’s lifting their kids without bracing for it. Sometimes it’s a return to sport. Either way, seeing a patient get their movement back is a reward in itself.
