From RMIT to Ferndale Drive
I’m Jun Young Ahn, though nearly everyone at the clinic calls me Johnny. I trained at RMIT University in Melbourne, finishing a double degree in 2022, a Bachelor of Health Science alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic), and graduated with distinctions.
What drew me to chiropractic, and what keeps me in it, is watching people change across a course of care. Someone who arrives guarding every movement slowly starts trusting their back again. Seeing that happen firsthand is the best part of my week, and it’s the reason I refuse to treat symptoms in isolation. If the cause is still sitting there, the result won’t hold.
These days I practise at Wellbeing Chiropractic on Ferndale Drive in Frankston and hold membership with the Australian Chiropractors Association. The patient mix here suits me well. There are golfers from courses all over the Peninsula and parents doing the daily lift-and-carry, and headaches and low back pain fill out most of the rest of my week.
