Dr Harry Park

Chiropractor · Wellbeing Chiropractic Blacktown & Kellyville

I’m Dr Harry Park, chiropractor across our Blacktown and Kellyville clinics, with consultations available in English or Korean. Macquarie University trained me twice over, a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2015 and a Master of Chiropractic in 2018, and hands-on adjusting is where I have invested most since: Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson and SOT, plus certifications in SOT and pregnancy adjustment, so the technique gets matched to you rather than the other way around. Wellbeing’s Most Growth Award came my way in 2025, and you will find me at the Blacktown Show most years, because community is the point of the job.

What I see most in Blacktown & Kellyville

The warm-up that takes half the session

Your lower back has started running the program at your Blacktown gym. Warm-ups stretch longer every week, and you’ve pulled the load back to get through squat day.

The jaw that clicks through breakfast

It began as a click when you chew. Now your face feels tight in the mornings and a headache creeps up from your neck most afternoons. Your dentist has ruled out the teeth, so the jaw joint and upper neck deserve a look.

Twenty-eight weeks, & standing is the hard part

The school pickup hurts by the time you get there, and rolling over in bed wakes you. You’d like hands-on care through your pregnancy from someone holding a certification in pregnancy adjustment.

When any of these walk in, my first job is assessment. I look at how you move, test what provokes the problem and what eases it, and take a proper history, because jaw pain, training niggles and pregnancy-related pain each carry their own patterns. From there we talk about a care plan that fits the stage you’re at. Some presentations need only a short course of care, others do better with a staged plan and reviews along the way, and I’ll be straight with you about which one you’re looking at. If chiropractic isn’t the right fit for what I find, I’ll tell you that too and help you get to the right practitioner.

From Macquarie to Flushcombe Road

Both of my degrees are from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2015 and a Master of Chiropractic in 2018. These days my week is split between our Blacktown and Kellyville clinics, and I’m a member of Chiropractic Australia.

Hands-on adjusting is the part of the work I’ve invested in most. Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson and SOT each suit slightly different problems and different people, and holding all four means the technique gets matched to you rather than the other way around. Trust sits underneath everything though. I explain as I go, and I’d rather slow a visit down than have anyone leave unsure of their plan. In 2025 I received the Growth Award within Wellbeing Chiropractic.

Outside the clinic I’m usually at the gym or out on a run. Badminton fills the weekends, and I follow the NBA far too closely for someone in an Australian time zone. I speak Korean as well, so consultations can run entirely in Korean if that suits you better. Locally, I’ve been involved with the Blacktown show through the clinic. You’ll also spot the clinic out at the Blacktown Show, where we’ve been part of the local calendar in 2025 and 2026, and my Most Growth Award from Wellbeing in 2025 sits proudly on the Blacktown front desk.

How a first visit with me runs

My starting point is simple: people get the most out of life when body and mind are both working well. A first visit runs accordingly. I listen first, then assess properly, looking at how you move, where load is concentrating, and what your training, work and home life are asking of your body. Before any treatment starts, you’ll hear what I’ve found in plain terms, and if adjusting is appropriate I’ll tell you which technique I’m reaching for and why.

The second half of my job is education. Feeling better matters, and it’s usually why people come in, but I want you thinking past the point where the pain settles. My aim is for you to understand your own body well enough to stay active and keep chasing the goals that matter to you, long after our visits wind down.

“If you don’t understand what I’m doing and why, then I haven’t done my job properly.”

How I work in the treatment room

Diversified

The hands-on adjusting style most patients recognise on sight. Specific, manual work directed at the joint that needs it.

Gonstead

A detail-heavy system of analysis and adjusting. I like it because it forces me to justify every contact before I take it.

Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)

Padded blocks positioned under the pelvis allow low-force correction. I hold a certification in SOT and reach for it often when a gentler approach suits.

Thompson drop-piece

Sections of the table give way away a fraction as each adjustment lands, which means less force is needed.

TMJ assessment & care

Hands-on care for clicking, clenching and jaw pain, including the upper neck tension that often travels with it.

Questions patients ask

Yes. I speak Korean and I’m happy to run the entire consultation in Korean, at Blacktown or at Kellyville. Raise it when you book. It often makes a real difference for patients who’d rather describe their pain in the language they think in.

Both clinics have HICAPS and I’m set up with all the major funds, so you can claim on the spot so the gap is your only payment if your extras cover includes chiropractic. Bring your fund card to your appointment and reception will process it there and then.

Jaw and TMJ problems are one of my special interest areas. I assess the jaw joint itself along with the muscles around it and the upper neck, because they usually work as a set. From there I’ll tell you plainly what I think is going on and whether chiropractic care suits what we find. If your presentation needs a dentist, GP or another practitioner instead, I’ll say so at the first visit.

Yes. I hold a certification in pregnancy adjustment, and technique and positioning are modified through each stage of pregnancy. Your first visit starts with a thorough history so we can decide together what’s appropriate for you. If anything I find needs your GP, midwife or obstetrician involved, that conversation happens before care starts.

No. You can book straight in at either clinic, Blacktown on (02) 9831 6944 or Kellyville on (02) 9896 5133. If you already have imaging or reports from another practitioner, bring them to your first visit and I’ll go through them with you.
