Dr. Saif Al-Alshi
Dr Saif Al–Ashi completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Majoring in Medical Science) at La Trobe University, before going on to complete his chiropractic studies at RMIT University with a double Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chiropractic). During his studies, he developed a strong interest in the musculoskeletal system, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in chiropractic. He is a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association.
Growing up, Saif played a lot of sport, which came with its fair share of injuries. Experiencing chiropractic care firsthand during those years had a significant impact on him and helped shape how he now approaches patient care, with a focus on building long-term resilience rather than just short-term relief.
Saif’s approach combines chiropractic care with clear, evidence-based clinical reasoning, rather than treating pain in isolation. He doesn’t just focus on where it hurts, but on why symptoms are persisting. He takes the time to understand movement patterns, load tolerance, habits, and the psychosocial factors that often contribute to ongoing pain. This helps patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their recovery, rather than simply adjusted and sent on their way.
Outside of the clinic, Saif enjoys training at the gym, boating and fishing, and spending quality time with his family, which helps him stay grounded and balanced.
Saif is available for consultations in Wallan.
